Abstract

Based on the model of collective creation developed by Teatro La Candelaria and the Experimental Theatre of Cali, we want to study the characteristics and elements that sustained this new model of theatricality emerged in Colombia in the 60s. Also to note, which of them did not respond only to a methodology of playwriting, but also transcended the border of the scenic text itself, while dealing with political and social content. Speaking in a political sense, in order of unrestrictedly content modelling, and knowing that it was an expression of a scenic model, which posed a process of cultural and political transformation, we seek to generate a balance of the importance it had for the Latin American scenic environment and thus, to understand its validity or extemporaneity on the results obtained through this.

Key words: Collective creation, theatricality, political theatre, cultural transformation, Latin-American theatre.

Štefan POVCHANIČ - DE LA NAISSANCE DES CANONS LITTÉRAIRES (THE BIRTH OF LITERARY CANONS)

Abstract

The study illustrates the knowledge that the substitution of literary systems does not always take place on the main line of literary development. In the words of Victor Shklovsky: “sometimes inheritance does not pass from father to son, but from uncle to nephew.” The retrospective view from the heights of the Parnassianism, a literary phenomenon which dominated the French literature in the 1860s, leads us to the very source of the movement, which was Hugo’s collection of poems Les Orientales, known as the picturesque school. In the given stage of literary development, it was a mere side branch, a “departure“ from the then-dominant intimate lyric poetry of the Romantics. Nonetheless, the next generation would find inspiration for their opposite movement against the canon of the given period in this one-time “departure”. This is the case of the “art for art’s sake” movement. In case of favourable conditions, however, the literary system originating in the side stream can become the dominant tendency of literary development. This is the case of the Parnassianism, which unites the principles of “art for art’s sake” and a scientific ambition and thus its cold beauty conquers the literary field.

Keywords: Substitution of systems, Picturesque school – Art for art’s sake – Parnassianism.

We analyse different ways and techniques of translating anthroponyms in selected films of Spanish-speaking origin, considering two main types of audiovisual translation: translation for dubbing and subtitling. In addition to the study of the communicative purpose, we also discuss different translation strategies of nicknames and labels as marks of identification of a film character.
