LÍVIA ADAMCOVÁ - LINGUISTISCHE VARIATIONSFORSCHUNG IM DEUTSCHEN (LANGUAGE VARIETY RESEARCH IN GERMAN)

Abstract: Variation is a characteristic feature of every natural language – including German. German is not a homogeneous entity and it exists in many forms. Based on observations, the article should document which varieties or variants are to be found in the German language. The characteristics of the dimensions of a linguistic variety classification are important here. According to this classification, apart from the standard variety, the German language has diatopic, diastratic and diaphasic features. Knowledge of the variation of the German language is of great importance to all teachers and learners in the process of language acquisition.

NINA MOCKOVÁ - SÉMOVÁ ANALÝZA CHROMATIZMOV VYJADRUJÚCICH EMÓCIE V ŠPANIELČINE (SEMIC ANALYSIS OF SPANISH CHROMATIC IDIOMS)

Abstract: The aim of the present article is to analyze the idioms with an colour element in their structure in the Spanish language which express different emotional states. The idioms are selected from three lexicographic sources: two monolingual and one phraseological diccionaries (the most current versions). The context of the meaning of the idioms in question or their frequency of use has been consulted with the referencial Corpus of Current Spanish Language (CREA) – annoted version from the year 2015. The article focuses therefore on the semic analysis of the given idiomatic expressions through identification of their semes, what makes possible to create the sematic fields for the given idioms. Then, the article is aimed to verify the usage of these idioms in context, regarding the frequency of use (using the CREA corpus). The importance of the singular colours is always relevant as well, regarding them as the key element of the examined idioms.

Keywords: phraseology, colour, chromatic, emotions, semes, analysis.

MICHELE PAOLINI - REMARKS ON A RECENT PUBLICATION RELATING TO STEREOTYPY

Abstract: This work aims to discuss the results of a study recently published in France: Étude(s) de cognition politique written by Fred Hailon (2017). The working hypothesis is that the discourse “socially institutes” the subject, as well as the subject “socially institutes” the discourse. This problematic subject-discourse nexus therefore seems to activate a phenomenon of multiple sense, rich in cross-implications, because the discourse also establishes, in turn, “social sense”. This would mean (if we correctly interpret it) that there is a fundamental semantics of the discourse that dynamically intervenes in the collective production of social concepts, schemes, categorizations.

Keywords:  cognition, discourse, categorization, semantics, stereotypy.

SOFIA TUŽINSKÁ - LUNFARDO – LA JERGA DE BUENOS AIRES (LUNFARDO – SLANG OF BUENOS AIRES)

Abstract: The objective of this study is to show the phenomenon of Argentina, which is analyzed through the process of transformation of the marginal jargon, to a large part of the colloquial language of the broad Argentinean hill of the speakers. The use of lunfardo, the slang of Buenos Aires, in its beginnings was limited to marginalized groups. It was spoken in the suburbs or neighborhoods near the port. Later this vocabulary spread among various social classes through the texts of tango that became very popular in the first half of the twentieth century and from there also penetrated into literature. The lunfardo assimilated the vocabulary of Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Castilian or African dialects. It is also characterized by its peculiar phonetics and spelling. Today there are words from lunfardo that have the common use at the level of colloquial or family language in the Rio de la Plata region or in the capital of Argenitna.

MARTINA ULIČNÁ - SLOVENSKO-RUSKÉ PARALELY A ODLIŠNOSTI VO VYJADROVANÍ PRIESTOROVÝCH VZŤAHOV I (SLOVAK-RUSSIAN PARALLELS AND DIFFERENCES IN THE EXPRESSION OF SPATIAL RELATIONS I)

Abstract: One of the basic starting points that the description of the morphological system of the Slovak language for foreigners must take into account are the communication needs of a student resulting from the communication situation and the intention of the speaker. The need to express the space relations appears at the very first stage of the language learning, at its elementary level, and the expression of static and dynamic meanings with the increasing complexity of the syntactic structure accompanies language learning up to the advanced level. In the comparative description of the Slovak language and another language it is therefore necessary to highlight the equivalences and differences of the ways of expressing the spatial meanings in order to help the student to identify language interference as well as the ways of handling it in communication. The aim of the paper is to compare the static and dynamic meanings in Slovak and Russian, to point out the usual cases of interference and to create a basis for writing of learning materials focused on the removal of such cases.

Keywords: Slovak as a foreign language, prepositions, expressing the place and direction, Slovak-Russian parallels.
